Cloud Strategy Workshop

A facilitated workshop that turns "we should do more with Azure" into a multi-year adoption roadmap, built on the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework. You leave with a phased, sequenced plan you can act on and take to the board — in days, not months.

Fixed scope, fixed price — quoted on enquiry.

Who it's for

You'll recognise the situation.

  • You're planning or expanding Azure adoption and want a plan, not a pilot that stalls.
  • You need a roadmap the board will understand and sign off.
  • You have landing-zone, governance or operating-model decisions to make.
  • You have migrations to plan and want them sequenced sensibly.
Scope

How it runs.

Typically two to three days of workshops, plus write-up. Confirmed when we scope it.

  1. Before — Preparation

A short questionnaire and a stakeholder list, so the workshop starts from your reality, not a template.

  2. Session 1 — Where you are

Current state, business drivers, constraints and the outcomes you actually need.

  3. Session 2 — Where you are going

Landing zone, governance, security and operating model; the approach to migration and modernisation.

  4. After — Write-up

We turn the sessions into a prioritised, sequenced roadmap and a board-ready summary.

What you get

The deliverable.

  • A written Azure adoption roadmap: phased and sequenced, not a wish list.
  • A landing-zone and governance recommendation.
  • A decisions-and-risks log from the sessions.
  • A board-ready summary you can present without translating it first.

What we need

Prerequisites.

  • The right people in the room: architecture, security, operations, and someone who can make decisions.
  • The pre-workshop questionnaire completed.
  • Read access to the current estate, if we need to see it.
Out of scope

What it isn't.

  • It is not the build — delivering any phase is a separate engagement.
  • It is not a detailed migration inventory or discovery exercise.
  • It is not a licensing or commercial negotiation.
Afterwards

What happens next.

You leave with a roadmap you can act on and take to the board. We can deliver any phase — a landing zone, a migration, a security programme — as a separate fixed-scope engagement.

Questions

Frequently asked.

How long does it take?
Typically two to three days of workshops plus the write-up. We confirm the exact shape when we scope it.
Who should attend?
Architecture, security and operations, plus someone who can make decisions. A roadmap nobody can sign off is just a document.
Remote or on-site?
Either. The workshop works well remotely or in person, whichever suits your team.
Do we get something for the board?
Yes. A board-ready summary is part of the deliverable, written to be presented as-is.
Is this the Cloud Adoption Framework?
Yes. The roadmap is built on the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, tailored to your drivers and constraints.
Does it include the build?
No. The workshop produces the plan. Delivering any phase of it is a separate fixed-scope engagement.
What does it cost?
