Who we are

Cloud Mechanix Limited (CRO 611879), Enfield, Co. Meath, Ireland, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

What we collect

We only collect the information you choose to send us — typically your name, email address, and the details of your enquiry when you email us or book a call. This site does not run advertising or behavioural tracking, and we do not build profiles about visitors.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to provide our services. Our lawful bases are your consent, our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and the performance of a contract where one is in place.

Sharing and processors

We do not sell your personal data. We use a small number of trusted service providers — for website hosting (Microsoft Azure) and email — who process data on our behalf under agreement. Data is hosted in Microsoft Azure data centres in the European Union.

Server logs and security

To keep this site available and secure, our hosting — Microsoft Azure Front Door and its web application firewall — automatically records technical information about each request, including your IP address, the pages requested, timestamps and browser type. We use this only to operate the site, prevent abuse and investigate security issues; our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in the security and integrity of the service. These logs are retained for 30 days and then deleted.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was provided and to meet our legal obligations, after which it is deleted. Technical server logs are retained for 30 days (see above).

Your rights

Under the GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, pleasecontact us.

If you have a concern about how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
